A flight from London to Geneva Airport takes approximately one hour and 40 minutes.
You can fly to Geneva from London City Airport, London Heathrow Airport and London Gatwick Airport.
Geneva is busy between June and August, when you can enjoy sunny weather and make the most of the city’s outdoor activities, like swimming in Lake Geneva. You could save by visiting in February or March instead, when it’s less crowded, or enjoy a winter break in November or December when the city is at its most magical.
There’s lots to do in Geneva during the warmer months, from strolling the sunlit alleys of the Old Town to taking a boat out on the lake. The weather is at its sunniest between June and August, so if you’re planning on spending lots of time outdoors, summer is the best time to visit.
There are lots of ways to make your trip to Geneva fit your budget. Head to the Paquis and Plainpalais neighbourhoods for the most affordable restaurants. Les Grottes is a good option for pubs and bars if you want to make your Swiss Francs stretch a little further. You can also walk to lots of places in the city, and if you need to get around quickly, Swiss public transport is usually a little more budget-friendly than taxis.
You can get from Geneva Airport to the city centre quickly and easily by train, bus or taxi. The journey by train takes around six minutes, and it’s around 20 minutes by bus or 15 minutes by taxi.
There’s a well-connected public transport system here made up of trams, buses and trains that can take you all over the city – these include mouettes, Geneva’s yellow public taxi-boats.

Citizens of the UK and Ireland and EU passport holders do not need a visa to visit Switzerland. If you hold a passport from a country or territory outside of these areas, you may need to apply for a visa before you travel. 3. To qualify for the up to $400 discount per booking offer certain booking requirements must be met.
4. The savings are $50, $100, $200 or $400 and apply to new Vacation Package bookings only where a minimum spend is met:
a. Vacation Package bookings with a total cost of $8,000 per booking can save $400 per booking.
b. Vacation Package bookings with a total cost of $5,000 per booking can save $200 per booking.
c. Vacation Package bookings with a total cost of $3,000 per booking can save $100 per booking.
d. Vacation Package bookings with a total cost of $1,500 per booking can save $50 per booking.

12. Car rental prices do not include fees charged locally such as airport charges, additional driver, insurance, navigation aids and similar options.

All flight only, hotel, car and experience only bookings, and any hotel, car or experiences added to a flight only booking are excluded from this offer. The following deposit levels apply based on the total spend per booking:
I. Flight + hotel and flight + car vacations between $1000-$1999 - pay from $198 deposit per booking
II. Flight + hotel and flight + car vacations between $2000-$2499 - pay from $250 deposit per booking
III. Flight + hotel and flight + car vacations between $2500-$2999 - pay from $300 deposit per booking
18. The deposit balance will be due 28 days prior to your departure date. The actual payment date will be displayed on the payment details page. You can pay the balance in as many instalments as you want. This allows you to spread the cost of the vacation over a longer period. You will have full flexibility of when you make the payments and how much they are, the only requirement is that you must have paid the full balance by the balance due date.
