A flight from London Heathrow to Kenya’s Nairobi Airport takes approximately eight hours and 40 minutes.
We fly direct from London Heathrow to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Kenya’s capital, Nairobi.
You may find that flights to Kenya are cheaper during the two rainy seasons, which run from November to December and March to May. Keep an eye out for our special offers or search our low fare finder to see the cheapest flights for each month of the year.
If you’re heading to the Maasai Mara on safari, the wildebeest and zebra migrate through the area between July and October, making it a popular time to visit. This is also the dry season, so it’s a great time to visit Mombasa’s beautiful beaches.
You can experience all Kenya has to offer on budgets big or small, although most visitors find that costs are generally low for dining, drinking and getting around. For every five-star safari lodge or luxury beach resort, there are plenty more modest options. To keep your spending low, you can try camping – or glamping – in the national parks, and in Nairobi you’re spoilt for choice with seemingly endless hotels, hostels, restaurants and street-food stalls that won’t break the bank.
If you’re keen to explore Kenya, getting about is easy. You can fly internally from Nairobi to Mombasa or take the scenic route and travel by train. Long-distance buses and coaches travel across the country connecting all the major towns. Many visitors choose to hire a driver or take taxis, so you can travel flexibly on a timeline that suits you.
Aside from Kenya’s spectacular national parks and exotic beaches, there’s so much for visitors to discover in this famously welcoming country. Intrepid travellers can join organised hikes of Mount Kenya, Africa’s seconded highest peak. Or, for a culture fix, Nairobi has it all. Head to the city’s National Museum, rich with precious artefacts, art and details of the country’s history and context within East Africa. There’s also a burgeoning art scene to explore, from the established Banana Hill Art Gallery to Circle Art Gallery, showcasing local modern art.

4. The savings are $50, $100, $200 or $400 and apply to new Vacation Package bookings only where a minimum spend is met:

b. Vacation Package bookings with a total cost of $5,000 per booking can save $200 per booking.

The following deposit levels apply based on the total spend per booking:
I. Flight + hotel and flight + car vacations between $1000-$1999 - pay from $198 deposit per booking
II. Flight + hotel and flight + car vacations between $2000-$2499 - pay from $250 deposit per booking
III. Flight + hotel and flight + car vacations between $2500-$2999 - pay from $300 deposit per booking
18. The deposit balance will be due 28 days prior to your departure date. The actual payment date will be displayed on the payment details page. You can pay the balance in as many instalments as you want. This allows you to spread the cost of the vacation over a longer period. You will have full flexibility of when you make the payments and how much they are, the only requirement is that you must have paid the full balance by the balance due date.
