Your flight time to Germany depends on where you’re flying from and which airport you’re landing in. A journey from New York to Germany will take around ten hours including a connection in London, while Los Angeles to Germany takes just over 13 hours with a connection.
You can fly to Germany from a number of US cities. Flights with British Airways include a connection at either London Heathrow or London Gatwick.
Summer is the most popular time of year to visit Germany, so book flights in spring or autumn for cheaper flights while still enjoying mild weather and plenty of cultural activities.
With a little research and pre-planning, you can make a trip to Germany fit any budget. There are lots of affordable accommodation options, especially if you choose to travel off-peak and stay outside of the city centres. There are also plenty of cheap eats that will save you a few euros, from outdoor sausage vendors to Turkish and Middle Eastern kiosks. You can enjoy your store-bought drinks outside if the weather is good. Berlin
- Visit the remains of the Berlin Wall. Though little is left of this historic landmark, there’s plenty dedicated to its memory, such as the Gedenkstatte Berliner Mauer and the East Side Gallery.
- Watch the sunset through the Brandenburg Gate, the neoclassical royal city entryway, and enjoy how the light highlights its stately columns and the Goddess of Victory sculpture atop of its structure.

Dusseldorf

The following deposit levels apply based on the total spend per booking:
I. Flight + hotel and flight + car vacations between $1000-$1999 - pay from $198 deposit per booking
II. Flight + hotel and flight + car vacations between $2000-$2499 - pay from $250 deposit per booking
III. Flight + hotel and flight + car vacations between $2500-$2999 - pay from $300 deposit per booking
18. The deposit balance will be due 28 days prior to your departure date. The actual payment date will be displayed on the payment details page. You can pay the balance in as many instalments as you want. This allows you to spread the cost of the vacation over a longer period. You will have full flexibility of when you make the payments and how much they are, the only requirement is that you must have paid the full balance by the balance due date.
