Your flight time to Ireland depends on where you’re flying from and which airport you’re landing in. A journey from New York to Ireland will take around ten hours including a connection in London, while Los Angeles to Ireland takes just under 14 hours with a connection.

You can fly to Ireland from a number of US cities. Flights with British Airways include a connection at either London Heathrow or London Gatwick.

September and October, plus January and February tend to offer cheaper flights to Ireland, but use our search to find the best value flights.

March to May and September to November are the best times to visit Ireland, though you can expect it to be busy during St Patrick’s Day celebrations. Thes months tend to have fewer visitors than the summer and the temperatures aren’t as cold as in the winter. Ireland has a mild climate and although it’s rainy at times, you can visit all year round.

If you plan ahead, you’ll find plenty of affordable things to do and see in Ireland. Hiking around the countryside and coastline is a low-cost way to explore – why not tick off the photo-ready Killarney National Park? Public transport is also inexpensive, and there are plenty of options across different price points for eating out and accommodation.

18. The deposit balance will be due 28 days prior to your departure date. The actual payment date will be displayed on the payment details page. You can pay the balance in as many instalments as you want. This allows you to spread the cost of the vacation over a longer period. You will have full flexibility of when you make the payments and how much they are, the only requirement is that you must have paid the full balance by the balance due date.
